Civilian Training

ISPI offers training seminars that teach the "Total Safety Concept". These seminars cover your actions from the time you leave your house until your return. This concept will teach you the dangers faced at home, on the road, and in the public and help you deal with each of them.

Law Enforcement Seminars

We offer seminars for police officers in the history and use of chemical weapons. These seminars teach the officer in force progression, de-escalation, and the proper use and care of chemical weaponry. We also cover positional asphyxia, crowd control, and the proper use of protective masks.

Mobile Field Force Training

Mobile Field Force Training (MFFT) is state-of-the-art training based on the Miami-Dade model with advances incorporated from lessons learned in actual field application around the country. MFFT is designed to rapidly organize eight to eighty officers into a well disciplined and controlled response to civil disorder, crowd control, officer/citizen rescue, establishing perimeters around large areas, or other tactical situations. This training can vary from eight to twenty-four hours depending on requirements.

Chemical-Biological Counter-terrorism Training

Response to chemical-biological terrorism requires an integration of law enforcement, HAZMAT programs, emergency medical services, and public health agencies. Only knowledge, training, and response exercises will allow you to respond and recover from chemical-biological terrorism. Our instructors have trained over 6000 local public safety responders and handled actual chemical-biological terrorist incidents.

Courses offered are:

  • Responder Awareness (4 hours).

  • Responder Operations (4 hours)

  • Incident Command (8 hours)

  • Tabletop Exercises (4-8 hours)

  • Field Training Exercises (4-8 hours)
