The Freeze solution employs a nonflammable solvent blend, formulated to penetrate skin layers and causing acute irritation to the nerve endings. This solution includes Freeze, Freeze+, and Freeze+P. Freeze contains Orthochlorabenzalmalonitrile (CS) called "Super Tear Gas" by U.S. Army Scientists: it is the strongest chemical agent available to non-military users. Packaged in aerosol canisters, Freeze, when deployed is propelled with sufficient force (range six to ten feet) to maintain a coherent stream. Freeze+ and Freeze+P deliver the magnified effects of CS and Oleoresin Capiscum (OC) to the nerve endings quickly for the maximum effect. The strong respiratory effects of OC combined with the severe pain induced by CS magnify each other.
